A little about me...

ARSENAL
I've loved Arsenal ever since watching them in the 04/05 FA Cup final. In England, only the FA Cup and World Cup was broadcast on the BBC so seeing them win that game was amazing for 6 year old me. I used to live near to Reading and actually use to go to Reading games quite often, but haven't been back to the motherland since 2016. In recent months, while I'm still a nervous wreck during games, I've actually been looking at the analytical side of football a bit more. If you're interested in seeing how network science can be used in football, take a look at this link: Network Science in Soccer. I've already written a web-scraping prediction script to help alleviate my gameday fears (take a look at portfolio page), but I'm still going to continue to make side-projects that combine the two things I love most.

AWAY FROM THE USA
The picture above, taken at ~11,500 feet was actually the moment right before we headed down Mount Fuji. Can you believe, up since 5 in the morning and hiking for 9 hours, what stopped us 500 feet from the summit was the lousy bus. If we hadn't turned back then, the only options would have been to walk down over loose rock while it was pitch black, or sleep on the side of the mountain and I wasn't really up for either of those. Aside from this, we went all over Japan and visited Tokyo, Hiroshima, and Kyoto. Hiroshima's atomic bomb museum was harrowing and I recommend anyone who visits Hiroshima to see it. Tokyo was incredible and playing VR Mario Kart was absolutely insane considering I was playing it on my DS barely 10 years ago. Overall, one of the best experiences of my life and I'm lucky to have had the opportunity to go.

KISS = KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID
"Great advice...hurts my feelings everytime." - Dwight Schrute. My way of keeping it simple is to grab a cone of shave ice. Thank you for listening to my TED talk. Note: If you've been reading this on mobile, this section will not make a whole lot of sense.

FOOD
Just kidding, I'm not that cliché person who just enjoys food and travelling and I'd rather stick to my favorites than venture out on the food side of things. However, I have one weakness and that is pancakes. This picture shows my addiction in full force, pancakes with oreo crumble and chocolate sauce. An absolute beauty. Also the shave ice that you see in the picture to the left was fantastic.
